This 1972 Artmaster First Day Cover features the 6¢ Wolf Trap Farm stamp from the National Parks Centennial series, postmarked in Vienna, Virginia on June 26, 1972. A 2¢ Frank Lloyd Wright stamp is also affixed and tied by the same first-day cancel.

Wolf Trap Farm Park, located in Vienna, Virginia, was established in 1966 as the first national park dedicated to the performing arts. The 1972 stamp issue marked the centennial of the National Park Service and highlighted this unique cultural landmark designed by architect John MacFadyen.

The cachet depicts a detailed illustration of the Filene Center at Wolf Trap, with the Artmaster logo and “National Parks Series” shield. The cover also bears a printed address to Erie, Pennsylvania.

A clean, well-centered example ideal for collectors of Artmaster cachets, National Parks topicals, or Virginia postal history.
